Challenges changesMy emotions settle over me like a ton of bricksPiled on top of my backI sat watching seagulls form a round a gazeboI watched them gathering to flyAs they spread their wingsI was praying each one could take an emotion and free it from meEach bird flewFor a moment I thought they were leavingMinutes later I stood still watching from inside my storeThey flew backEach emotion returnedAnd I looked down at the groundFeeling so intense it brought tearsRealizing no one could understand And these feelings would be a part of me for a long timeLoveLosing myselfSearching againRealized I got too closeFemales onlyWaiting for a female touch to calm meSoothing my leather skinHoping for inspiration"Things are pretty, graceful, rich elegant, handsome, but until they speak to the imagination, not yet beautiful." ~Emerson
