NYC Transplant Looking for Fun
I'm of Sicilian and Spanish heritage and, as such, I am passionate about everything that I do. I grew up in NYC and moved to Chicago about 2 years ago. I'm still very much a New Yorker ... I have a definite attitude ... I know who I am and what I am looking for. I don't like to settle or compromise, but at the same time, I try not to miss out on opportunities that present themselves. Professionally, I'm an attorney and consultant, but I don't define myself by my profession. I'm actually very laid back and I try to enjoy life, especially given the amount of time that I work. I was in a long term relationship that came to an end about 6 months ago. I've been very cautious the last few months and have not really dated anyone. That being said, I came onto this website in the hopes that maybe there was someone out there that would interest me. So far, I haven't found anyone. But, today I practice optimism, something that was about as foreign to me as the idea of moving away from my native city, New York. So, I'm open to new experiences and people. I just don't like to have my time wasted, so if you are here to play games or act the fool, don't hit me up. If you are for real then say hi.
I'm looking for someone that's real. Someone who is down to earth and knows what she wants. With me, what you see is what you get. I still have a thing for city girls .... you know who you are! My old neighborhood in NYC was very sketchy growing up ... one of the highest crime and murder rates in the country ... it bred a different kind of person ... maybe more jaded, calculating, distrusting, ... streetsmart. Anyway, I just want a woman that's intelligent, knows what she wants and is feisty. I like to be challenged. If that's you, then hit me up.
