Let's face it. The whole reason to do this whole online dating thing is so that you can stop dating. I'll be honest I'm not new in town. This is not the first time I've joined an online dating site. I'm not looking for a partner in crime (I've led a fairly successful life avoiding crime so far). I don't work hard and play hard. My friends did not talk me into this (although they do enjoy my dating stories).My Favorite Things: Seeing a movie. Drinking a beer in the afternoon. Finding a bargain. Riding my bicycle. Anticipating an upcoming trip.What else should you know about me? I'm smart and a smartass. I'm a great storyteller. I develop crushes on MMA ring girls. I'm only happy when I have a trip planned. I'm insanely loyal towards family and friends. I can become surprisingly giddy about foreign film festivals. I'm always reading a book, and I always have a list of books I want to read.My ideal date: laughs at my jokes, is gainfully employed, comes up with an activity at least half of the time, is interested as well as interesting, is honest and open, and dislikes drama as much as I do.I bike to work nearly every day, and I never get tired of it. Dive bars make me happy, especially if there's good music and I can sit in a booth. Seeing a good band and bobbing my head along to the music puts a smile on my face.
